TAMPA, FL - October 1, 2026 OWT Global, LLC announced today it has been awarded the Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Mobile Training Team (MTT) Services contract supporting Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401). Official Government Announcement →

JIATF-401 serves as the Department of War’s lead organization for synchronizing C-sUAS efforts across the Joint Force and interagency partners. Its mission is to accelerate the delivery of capabilities, training, and operational solutions needed to counter rapidly evolving unmanned threats.

Under the contract, OWT will provide mobile training teams, develop curriculum, deliver instruction, and synchronize training across the enterprise. The work will help prepare warfighters to employ C-sUAS capabilities effectively in their operational environments.

Building on its pedigree in C5ISR and unmanned systems, OWT has supported the government’s C-sUAS mission for nearly nine years. Its personnel have worked alongside warfighters to develop, test, integrate, install, operate, and sustain C-sUAS capabilities and train the people who employ them. That experience has reinforced a principle central to OWT’s approach: technology alone does not create operational capability. It must be effectively integrated, understood, employed, and sustained by trained operators.

“Effective training starts with understanding the mission, the technology, and the environments where it will be used,” said Scott Keir, Director of Air Domain Awareness and Defense, OWT Global. “We’ll draw on our experience across the C-sUAS lifecycle to develop curriculum and deliver mobile training for JIATF-401, preparing warfighters to employ evolving capabilities from the outset."

”OWT’s team brings together operators, engineers, technicians, trainers, and mission specialists from the communities it supports. Their experience helps bridge the gap between emerging technology and operational employment. JIATF-401 is bringing necessary focus and urgency to the C-sUAS mission across the Joint Force,” said Eric Fuller, CEO of OWT Global. “Our role is to prepare warfighters to employ C-sUAS capabilities effectively wherever they operate.  That takes training grounded in both the technology and the mission, and it’s the work OWT was built to do.”
